Privacy Policy

This website does not run an account system, a comment section or a newsletter, and it does not ask you to create a profile. There is no server-side form on the site: the booking enquiry form composes a message in your browser and hands it to WhatsApp, Telegram or your email client. Nothing you type into it is sent to us until you press send in that app.

When you contact us on WhatsApp, Telegram, by phone or by email, we receive whatever you write, along with the phone number or email address you write from. We use it to answer your question, arrange your stay and keep a record of the booking. We keep booking correspondence for as long as we need it for accounting and for handling any later questions about the stay.

We do not sell, rent or share your contact details with anyone for marketing.

Map tiles on the Lonely Beach guide come from OpenStreetMap, and the location map on the contact page is a Google Maps embed. When those load, your browser contacts those services directly, and they may log your IP address under their own privacy policies.

Fonts are served from Google Fonts. Links to Booking.com, Tripadvisor, Agoda, Airbnb and Google Maps take you to those companies' own sites, which have their own privacy policies.

If you book through one of those platforms, that platform handles your data as the merchant of record; we receive the booking details they pass on to us.

We set no advertising or tracking cookies of our own. Embedded third-party content (the Google Maps frame) may set cookies from those services.

You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it. Write to us at the email address below and we will respond as quickly as we can.
